The International Academy of Business and Banking is a unique multi-level educational
establishment. It has been founded in 1991 in Togliatti as an
educational center of AvtoVAZbank for preparing the personnel. At the present moment the
promoters of the Academy are AvtoVAZ, and the administration of the
city and the region. The International Academy is a non-governmental educational
establishment, where one can get general and specific education. The Academy consists of
several departments (or levels): |
- The kindergarten (for 4-6 years-old children) and the Primary school (for 7-10
years-olds)
- The Secondary school (for 10-15 years-olds)
- The College (for 16-17 years-olds)
- The University (for 18 years-olds and over).

The system provides the continuous education in banking and finance, information
technologies, law, design and foreign languages.

Bank-College was the first department to be established. In 1993 it received the
accreditation in the North-West Association of Schools and Colleges (USA). Now the
International Academy of Business and Banking has received the accreditation of the
Ministry of Education of Russian Federation. It also has a status of the official
educational center of Microsoft. The Academy has a great experience
working together with Russian and foreign lecturers and consultants. It also has
agreements with some American Universities (Jacksonville, Monterey and Denver). Through
these and other avenues, the International Academy of Business and Banking is widening the
spectrum of their activities.
